Nic Jones is a 6'0", 185-pound nickelback from Detroit, Michigan, who played four seasons at Ball State (2019–22), appearing in 37 games and recording 64 tackles, 22 pass breakups, and 3 interceptions. Selected in the seventh round (250th overall) by Kansas City in 2023, Jones spent his first two seasons with the Chiefs. As a rookie, he appeared in nine games, primarily on special teams (111 snaps). He played in one game in 2024 before spending the remainder of the season on the practice squad.
