Jaxson Dart attended Roy High School before his senior year at Corner Canyon, where he led the program to an undefeated record and a 6A title in 2020, earning Gatorade National Football Player of the Year honors. He played one season at USC in 2021, appearing in six games with three starts. Dart transferred to Ole Miss in 2022 and started 12 of 13 games as a freshman, completing 226 of 362 passes for 2,974 yards with 20 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. In 2024, his final college season, he threw for 4,279 yards and 29 touchdowns while setting the Ole Miss single-season total offense record at 4,774 yards, earning first-team All-SEC honors. The Giants selected Dart 25th overall in the 2025 draft.
