Alan Herron is a 6'6", 308-pound right tackle who agreed to terms with the New Orleans Saints on April 26, 2026. He transferred to Maryland from Division II Shorter University, where he started every game at tackle in 2022 and 2023. At Maryland, Herron started all 24 games over two seasons at right tackle. In 2025, he started all 12 games as a senior and was named 2025 Honorable Mention All-Big Ten and 2025 Academic All-Big Ten. He participated in the Panini Senior Bowl and American Bowl All-Star Game and was a 2026 NFL Scouting Combine invitee.
