Over 36 college appearances, he totaled 37 tackles, 12.5 for loss, 4.0 sacks, and three pass breakups. In his final season, he started 10 games and recorded 17 tackles, eight for loss, and 3.0 sacks, earning Second Team All-American honors from the AFCA and First Team All-Big Ten selection.
