Tavierre Thomas is a 30-year-old free safety from Ferris State who went undrafted and signed with the Cardinals before joining the Minnesota Vikings. Over eight seasons, Thomas has appeared in 98 career games (22 starts) across the Browns (2018-20), Texans (2021-23), and Buccaneers (2024), accumulating 189 defensive tackles, two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), six passes defensed, and six forced fumbles. In 2021, he earned AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors after recording a career-high 78 tackles with the Texans. Most recently with Tampa Bay in 2024, Thomas appeared in all 17 games, posting 14 tackles and blocking a field goal.
