Background & career

Joe Huber is a 6'5", 310-pound right guard from Dublin, Ohio who played college football at Cincinnati and Wisconsin. Originally a walk-on at Cincinnati in 2020, Huber earned a scholarship and redshirted his true freshman year before appearing in 48 snaps as a reserve tackle in 2021 when the Bearcats qualified for the College Football Playoff. He won the starting RT job in 2022, then transferred to Wisconsin to play his final two seasons under Head Coach Luke Fickell. Across his college career, Huber appeared in 44 games with 37 starts, including 12 at right guard. According to Pro Football Focus, he allowed only 1.0 sack over 477 pass blocking snaps in two seasons at Wisconsin and posted a 76.2 pass blocking grade in 2023, ranking 14th among Big Ten linemen. The Vikings selected him as an undrafted free agent in 2025.
