Background & career
Tyreke Smith is a 6'3", 267-pound right defensive end from Cleveland, OH who played college football at Ohio State. The Seahawks selected him in the fifth round (158th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft. After stints with Seattle, Arizona, and Seattle again, Smith signed with Kansas City's practice squad on August 28, 2025, and was subsequently elevated to the active roster on December 24, 2025. He enters his second season with the Chiefs in 2026.
