Background & career
Quenton Nelson is a left guard for the Indianapolis Colts who was selected sixth overall in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame, where he started 36 of 37 career games. In his first season, he started all 16 games and was named AP First-Team All-Pro and to the Pro Bowl, becoming the first rookie Colts offensive lineman to earn Pro Bowl honors since 1983. Nelson has continued to earn All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections throughout his tenure with Indianapolis. In 2024, he appeared in all 17 games, including a start at center in Week 16 against Tennessee where the line helped generate a franchise-record 335 team rushing yards. At 30 years old with 8 years of experience, Nelson remains under contract with the Colts at an annual value of $20 million.
