Jalen Pitre is a 6'0", 200-pound safety from Stafford, Texas, who attended Baylor University. The Houston Texans selected him in the second round (37th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, Pitre started all 17 games and totaled 147 tackles (99 solo), five interceptions, eight passes defensed, five tackles for loss, and one sack. During the 2023 season, he started in 14 games, recording 83 tackles (57 solo), five passes defensed, and six tackles for loss. In 2025, Pitre recorded four interceptions and 12 passes defensed. He now enters his fifth season with the Texans under a three-year contract.
