Ali Gaye is a 6'6", 262-pound right defensive end from Lynnwood, WA. Originally from Gambia, he moved to the United States at age 12. Gaye played college football at LSU following transfers from Garden City Community College and Arizona Western, appearing in 27 games with 26 starts, 87 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 7.0 sacks. He was named permanent team captain in August 2022. The Texans signed him as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2023, moved him to the practice squad on August 30, 2023, and signed him to a reserve/future contract on January 22, 2024.
