Background & career
Jager Burton is a right guard for the Green Bay Packers, selected 153rd overall in the 2025 draft. The 6-4, 312-pound lineman spent five years at Kentucky, where he started 32 games at guard and 15 at center. Burton earned SEC All-Freshman honors in 2022 after starting all 13 games at left guard. He allowed eight sacks that season across 426 pass-blocking snaps, then improved significantly over his final three seasons, permitting just three sacks on more than 1,000 pass-blocking snaps according to Pro Football Focus. At the combine, Burton ran a 4.94-second 40-yard dash at his playing weight. A Lexington native, he won the Paul Hornung Award after consecutive first-team all-state selections in high school.
