Devon Key is a free safety for the Denver Broncos. The 28-year-old appeared in 17 games with one start during the 2024 season, recording 25 tackles (12 solo), one sack and one quarterback hit, including his first career sack against Tampa Bay's Baker Mayfield on September 22. He made his postseason debut in the AFC Wild Card Round at Buffalo on January 12. At Western Kentucky (2016-20), Key compiled 350 tackles across 50 games (49 starts)—the most in program history since 2009—along with six interceptions and 25 passes defensed. He earned second-team All-Conference USA honors in 2020 after posting 92 tackles in 12 games. Key signed with Denver as a free agent on November 22, 2022.
