Background & career
Zak Zinter is a 6'6", 310-pound left guard for the Cleveland Browns. The Browns selected him in the third round (85th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft. At Michigan from 2020–23, Zinter appeared in 45 games with 42 starts along the offensive line. He earned three All-Big Ten selections and was named an All-American in 2023, when he started all 12 games. He was voted team captain by teammates in 2023 and helped Michigan win the CFP National Championship and the Joe Moore Award in 2021 and 2022. In his first NFL season, Zinter appeared in all 17 games for Cleveland, starting two at right guard and one as an extra lineman.
