Shedeur Sanders is a quarterback from Dallas, Texas, selected by Cleveland in the fifth round (144th overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft. He began his college career at Jackson State, where he compiled a 23-3 starting record over two seasons before transferring to Colorado. At Colorado, Sanders started 13 games in 2024, throwing 37 touchdown passes and earning second-team AP All-American honors and Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year. In his 2025 rookie season with the Browns, Sanders completed 120 of 212 passes for 1,400 yards with 7 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown across 21 carries for 169 yards.
