Xavier Johnson is a 6'1", 210-pound right wide receiver from Cincinnati who attended Ohio State. Originally signed by Buffalo as a college free agent on May 10, 2024, Johnson spent his entire rookie season on Houston's practice squad before being waived on August 19, 2025. He joined Cincinnati's practice squad in December 2025 and was signed to a Reserve/Future contract on January 5, 2026. At Ohio State, Johnson played in 56 games over six seasons (2018–23), recording 26 receptions for 329 yards with two touchdowns, 44 rushing attempts for 358 yards and a touchdown, and 27 kickoff returns for 582 yards. He was named a team captain in 2023.
