Sean Clifford is a quarterback from Cincinnati who attended St. Xavier High School, where he led the Bombers to a Division I Ohio State Championship as a senior in 2016. He played five seasons at Penn State, finishing with school records including 10,661 passing yards, 86 touchdown passes, and 32 wins as a starting quarterback. A three-time All-Big Ten Honorable Mention selection, Clifford signed with Green Bay as a college free agent in 2023 and appeared in two games during his rookie season. After time on the Packers' practice squad in 2024, he joined Cincinnati's practice squad in September 2025 and was later signed to the active roster on October 31.
