Isaiah Nwokobia is a safety who signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as a college free agent in May 2026 following his graduation from Southern Methodist University. Over five seasons (2021-25) at SMU, Nwokobia appeared in 53 games with 41 starts, accumulating 273 tackles, 11 interceptions (including two returned for touchdowns), 12 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks. He earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2024 after recording a career-high 100 tackles and three interceptions, and was named honorable mention All-ACC in 2025. In 2023, Nwokobia led his team with four interceptions and became the first defensive player ever to win the AAC Championship Game MVP award.
