Xavier Watts is a 6'0", 203-pound safety from Omaha, Nebraska, who played four seasons at Notre Dame before the Atlanta Falcons selected him 96th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, Watts started all 17 games and recorded 57 solo tackles, 37 tackle assists, five interceptions, and 11 passes defensed. He led all rookies in interceptions and became only the second Falcons rookie since 1989 to reach five interceptions in a single season. Watts earned September 2025 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month honors and was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team and All-NFC Team.
