In his rookie season, Walker appeared in 15 games and registered 5.5 sacks, one pass defense, and a fumble recovery. He earned Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week after Week 9, when he forced a strip-sack against New England's Drake Maye that led to an Atlanta touchdown, and finished the season second among all rookies in sacks.
