Background & career
Reggie Virgil is a left wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals, standing 6'3" and weighing 187 pounds. The Cardinals selected him in the 2026 NFL Draft at 143rd overall, making him the first Red Raiders receiver taken by Arizona in program history. Virgil began his college career at Miami (OH) from 2022–24, primarily contributing on special teams his first two years before emerging as a starter. He transferred to Texas Tech for the 2025 season, where he led the Red Raiders with 57 receptions for 705 yards and six receiving touchdowns while appearing in all 14 games. Across his final two seasons, he totaled 98 catches for 1,521 yards and 15 TDs, earning All-Big 12 Honorable Mention (2025) and 2nd-team All-MAC (2024) honors.
