Josh Sweat is a 6'5", 253-pound defensive end from Chesapeake, VA, and Florida State product selected 130th overall in the 2018 fourth round by Philadelphia. Over seven seasons with the Eagles (2018–24), he appeared in 104 regular-season games and recorded 44.0 sacks. In 2025, his first year with Arizona, Sweat started all 17 contests and was named a Pro Bowl alternate after posting 30 tackles, 12.0 sacks, 17 quarterback hits, 13 tackles for loss, and four forced fumbles—all career highs. His four strip-sacks tied for most in the NFL. Entering his ninth season, Sweat has totaled 263 tackles and 55.0 sacks across 121 regular-season games and played in nine postseason contests, including two Super Bowls.
