Bio

Hjalte Froholdt is a center from Svendborg, Denmark, who became the first Danish player invited to the NFL Combine in 2019. Drafted by New England in the fourth round (118th overall) that year, he spent time with the Patriots, Texans, Browns, and Cleveland before signing with Arizona on 3/15/23. Entering his eighth season, Froholdt started all 17 games for the Cardinals in each of the past three seasons (2023–25), the only defensive or offensive player on the roster to accomplish that feat. He was named a team captain for the first time in 2025. In 2024, the offensive line he anchored helped the Cardinals run for 2,451 yards with a 5.29 average, the best rushing average in franchise history, while allowing just 30 sacks, the fifth-fewest in the NFL.
