Marvin Burks Jr. is a 6'2", 208-pound safety from St. Louis, Missouri, who attended Cardinal Ritter High School. A four-star recruit in the 2023 class, he spent three seasons at Missouri before transferring to Wisconsin. As a freshman in 2023, Burks appeared in all 13 games and recorded 16 tackles, 1.0 sack, 1.0 TFL, and one fumble recovery across 243 snaps. His 2024 sophomore campaign saw him start all 13 games with 66 tackles, 1.5 TFL, one interception, and two pass breakups. In 2025, Burks started all 13 games as a junior, posting 49 tackles, a 28-yard interception return for a touchdown, one forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and one pass breakup.
