Jacob Anderson is a 6'4", 290-pound nose tackle from Davis, Illinois, who played two varsity seasons at Durand High School. As a senior, he recorded 70 tackles, five tackles for loss, and eight sacks while earning all-conference honors and team captain status. Anderson redshirted his freshman year at Illinois State in 2022, then started 10 games as a redshirt freshman in 2023, finishing with 34 tackles, five tackles for loss, and one sack. In 2024, he earned All-MVFC Second Team honors after starting all 14 games with 59 tackles, 3.0 sacks, and 6.5 tackles for loss, including a 55-yard interception return for a touchdown in an FCS playoff win. During the 2025 season as a redshirt junior, Anderson appeared in all 17 games with 17 starts, posting 52 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and three sacks as Illinois State reached the FCS National Championship. He now joins Wisconsin as a transfer.
