Danny O'Neil is a junior quarterback for the Wisconsin Badgers who transferred from San Diego State. The 6'0", 205-pound Indianapolis native prepped at Cathedral High School, where he started three seasons and set school records in passing yards, touchdowns, completions and attempts. As a true freshman at SDSU in 2024, O'Neil earned all-Mountain West honorable mention honors after completing 209-of-330 passes for 2,181 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions. In the 2025 season, he appeared in seven games with three starts, completing 61-of-90 passes for 635 yards and five touchdown passes while adding 58 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.
