Colton Joseph is a 6'2", 212-pound quarterback from Newport Beach, California, who attended Newport Harbor High School before joining Old Dominion as a redshirt freshman in 2024. In 2024, he appeared in nine games with eight starts, completing 133 of 222 passes for 1,627 yards with 11 touchdowns and five interceptions while rushing for 647 yards and 11 touchdowns. As a redshirt sophomore in 2025, Joseph started all 12 regular season games and threw for 2,624 yards and 21 touchdowns while adding 1,007 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns, earning Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year honors. He ranked second nationally in yards per completion at 15.2 and 12th in yards per carry at 6.4, becoming one of only two quarterbacks in 2025 to exceed 2,000 passing and 1,000 rushing yards.
