Aaron Witt is a 6'6", 240-pound linebacker from Winona, Minnesota, where he was a three-star recruit and two-time Minnesota Football Coaches Association First-Team All-State selection. He made his Wisconsin debut against Michigan on November 14, 2020, and collected his first career tackle against Minnesota on December 19 of that year. After redshirting in 2021 and missing 2022, Witt returned to action in 2023 and has been a regular contributor since. In 2024, he played in 11 games with five starts, posting 28 tackles including 18 solo stops. During the 2025 season, Witt appeared in all 12 games, making five starts while recording 13 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and a sack across 165 defensive snaps. He is a five-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
