Joshua Mensah is a linebacker from Riverdale, Georgia, who attended Charles Drew High School. He played one season at Independence Community College in 2022, recording 12 tackles and recovering one fumble across seven games before transferring to Western Kentucky. Mensah redshirted during his first year with the Hilltoppers in 2023. He appeared in three games in 2024, recording one tackle in the Aug. 31 contest at Alabama. During the 2025 season, Mensah played in 12 games primarily on special teams, finishing with two tackles, both coming in the Aug. 30 win over North Alabama.
