Vincent Smith is a true freshman cornerback for West Virginia from Orlando, Florida. He played high school football at Sandburg in Illinois, where he earned all-conference first team honors and helped lead the team to a 7-3 record and first-round state playoff appearance. As a senior, Smith recorded 21 solo tackles, 11 pass breakups, and four interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns, along with two tackles for loss. Standing 6'1" and weighing 218 pounds, he posted a 4.42 40-time. Smith majors in sport management.
