Sam Hamilton is a true freshman tight end for West Virginia from Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended Archbishop Moeller High School, where he was named to the Greater Catholic League All-League Second Team in 2025. As a senior, he had 15 receptions totaling 157 yards with two touchdowns while helping Moeller reach the second round of the OHSAA Division I State Playoffs with an 8-4 record.
