Michael Hawkins Jr. is a quarterback for West Virginia who transferred from Oklahoma. The Dallas native attended Emerson High School, where he compiled 4,211 all-purpose yards and 55 touchdowns as a senior and earned District 3-5A Division II MVP honors. At Oklahoma, Hawkins appeared in seven games during his 2024 freshman season, making four starts. He completed 76-of-120 passes for 783 yards and three touchdowns while rushing 69 times for 204 yards and a touchdown. In 2025, he saw action in two contests, completing 15-of-27 passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns.
