Jonas Muya is a 6'7", 293-pound left tackle for West Virginia who enrolled as a true freshman in 2026. Originally from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Muya grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and spent three seasons playing basketball at prep school La Lumière before joining Fort Wayne Bishop Luers for his senior year of high school in 2025. Playing right tackle for the Bishops, he contributed to an offensive line that enabled 1,249 passing yards and 2,552 rushing yards, with the team recording nine passing touchdowns and 27 rushing touchdowns. He helped facilitate two 1,000-yard rushers and earned 3A All-Summit Athletic Conference Honorable Mention honors. Muya is a business major and was a 3-star recruit ranked 474th in the 2026 class.
