Deshawn Woods is a left tackle from Omaha, Nebraska, who attended Omaha Central before joining Butler Community College. At Butler, Woods earned All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Honorable Mention recognition in 2024 and helped the Grizzlies reach a 7-3 record with a No. 9 national ranking in 2025. He blocked for the nation's leading rusher, Markellus Bass, who accumulated 1,237 yards. Butler's rushing attack totaled 1,929 yards and averaged 192.9 yards per game while scoring 31.2 points per contest. Woods now plays for West Virginia as a transfer.
