Geimere Latimer II, a nickel back from Fairburn, Georgia, played quarterback and defensive back at Sandy Creek High School under coach Brett Garvin. As a senior in 2022, he was a two-time All-State First-Team selection and GHSA Region 5-AAA Player of the Year who led the Patriots to the state championship. Latimer began his college career at Jacksonville State, appearing in 13 games as a freshman in 2023 with one interception and a forced fumble. During his sophomore season in 2024, he played all 14 games, recording 46 tackles, three interceptions (tied for third in CUSA), and six pass breakups. He transferred to Wisconsin as a junior, where he saw action in 12 games with three starts, accumulating 28 tackles including 17 solo stops and a forced fumble. Latimer enrolled at West Virginia in spring 2025.
