DJ Epps is a wide receiver from Phenix City, Alabama who played at Troy before joining West Virginia as a transfer. During his final season with the Trojans in 2025, Epps appeared in all 14 games with 10 starts and led the team with 47 receptions for 512 yards and five touchdowns. He posted 148 yards and two touchdowns on 10 catches against Texas State and recorded 103 yards with two touchdowns on eight catches versus Georgia State. Epps also contributed 554 return yards on 23 kickoffs, ranking second in the Sun Belt.
