Andreas Hunter is an offensive lineman for the West Virginia Mountaineers standing 6'4" and weighing 306 pounds. Hunter hails from Glen Dale, West Virginia, where he played for John Marshall High School under coach Mark Cisar. At the high school level, he earned AAA All-State First Team honors and All-Ohio Valley Athletic Conference First Team recognition. He was nominated for the Blocks of Granite Award and did not allow a sack during his senior year while recording more than 20 pancake blocks. Hunter redshirted during the 2024 season and did not see game action in 2025. He is currently a redshirt sophomore majoring in sport management.
