Luke Dunne, a 6'5" punter from Benalla, Australia, transferred to Washington via the portal in summer 2025 after two seasons at Oregon. At Oregon, he redshirted in 2023 with three punts averaging 40.7 yards, then punted nine times in 2024 for a 42.7-yard average with a long of 51, five of which were downed inside the 20. In his first season at Washington, Dunne handled all 33 Huskies punts, accumulating 1,331 yards at a 40.3-yard average with a long of 56 and eight punts placed inside the 20. He grew up playing Australian rules football, basketball, and cricket before attending ProKick Australia.
