Jack Shaffer is a left guard from Bismarck, North Dakota, standing 6'6" and weighing 351 pounds. He enrolled at Washington in January 2025 and appeared in his first game as a Husky in the win at UCLA. At Bismarck High School, Shaffer earned first-team all-state and all-league honors as both a junior and senior. His senior class helped the team to an 8-3 record and reached the Division AAA semifinals, while his junior squad finished 7-3 and made the first round of the state playoffs. Shaffer was ranked the No. 2 recruit in North Dakota and No. 40 offensive tackle nationally by recruiting services. He received the Husky Fever 12th Man Award at the team's postseason banquet.
