Demond Williams Jr. is a junior quarterback at Washington from Chandler, Arizona, where he attended Basha High School. At the high school level, he completed 645-of-903 passes for 10,035 yards, 93 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while rushing for 2,783 yards and 42 touchdowns over four seasons as a starter. Williams enrolled at Washington in 2024 and appeared in all games as a true freshman, starting the final two contests. In 2025, he started all 13 games, completing 246 of 354 passes for 3,065 yards and 25 touchdowns against 8 interceptions. He also rushed 143 times for 612 yards and 6 touchdowns, ranking third in UW history for single-season rushing yards by a quarterback. Williams earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors and was named to the Big Ten All-Academic team.
