Nylan Brown is a junior linebacker from Indianapolis who transferred to Washington State in January 2026. At Kent State, he appeared in 11 games during his sophomore season, accumulating 38 total tackles (21 unassisted, 17 assisted) along with 2.5 tackles-for-loss and three quarterback hurries. His performance included seven tackles against Texas Tech, six against Buffalo, and five at Northern Illinois. As a freshman, he played in 11 games with 20 tackles, forced two fumbles, and posted eight tackles in a game versus Ball State. In high school at Ben Davis, Brown earned Indiana Defensive Top-50 honors as a senior and recorded consecutive 100-plus tackle seasons as a junior and senior.
