Michael Hughes is a 6'4", 239-pound right defensive end from Santa Ana, California. A redshirt junior, Hughes appeared in all 13 games during the 2025 season, accumulating seven tackles, one tackle for loss, and one pass breakup while recording two quarterback hurries. He logged a tackle for loss and pass breakup in the victory over San Diego State, made two tackles at North Texas, and registered single stops against Colorado State, Virginia, and Oregon State. In 2024, Hughes appeared in three contests, including his collegiate debut with three tackles in the season-opening win over Portland State.
