Malachi Wrice is a redshirt sophomore linebacker for Washington State. The 6'4", 239-pound defensive end from McAlester, Oklahoma, redshirted during his 2024 freshman season while earning Scout Player of the Week honors twice. In 2025, Wrice appeared in five games, recording two quarterback hurries in a win over Toledo and playing three defensive snaps in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl victory over Utah State. At McAlester High School, he accumulated 77 tackles as a senior, including 19 for loss and four sacks, while also catching nine passes for 158 yards and four touchdowns.
