Fernando Lecuona is a 6'2", 251-pound defensive end from Omaha, Nebraska who attended Millard South High School. As a senior in 2023, he recorded 88 total tackles with 29 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks, earning Super-State first-team all-state honors and an invitation to the Nebraska Shrine Bowl. Lecuona redshirted during his 2024 freshman season at South Dakota State, appearing in three games and recording one tackle at Northern Iowa. He transferred to Washington State and enrolled in January 2025. During spring practice, he appeared in six games on defense, recording 16 defensive snaps across contests at North Texas, in the Apple Cup, and against Toledo, Louisiana Tech, Oregon State, and Utah State. He played three defensive snaps in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl victory over Utah State.
