Kirby Vorhees is a running back from Lutz, Florida who attended Steinbrenner High School before joining South Dakota State. As a redshirt freshman in 2024, he was named to the Missouri Valley All-Newcomer Team after rushing for 581 yards and eight touchdowns on 75 carries across 13 games. Vorhees transferred to Washington State and enrolled in January 2025. In his first season with the Cougars, he appeared in 12 games with seven starts, accumulating 576 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 138 carries while averaging 4.2 yards per attempt. He added 19 receptions for 125 yards and fumbled four times, losing two.
