Jamarey Smith is a redshirt freshman cornerback at Washington State standing 6'1" and weighing 184 pounds. The Santa Clarita, California native attended Oaks Christian School, where he recorded 60 tackles and two interceptions during his senior season, including one returned for a touchdown against Pacifica. Smith enrolled in January 2025 and appeared in five games as a true freshman, primarily on special teams. He made his collegiate debut at Oregon State and recorded his first career start against Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, tallying two tackles and one pass breakup in the victory. Smith was named WSU Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week against San Diego State.
