Ishmael Gibbs is a 5'11", 164-pound nickelback from Los Angeles who attends Washington State. A three-star recruit in the 2025 class, he enrolled in January and participated in spring practice. During his 2025 freshman season, Gibbs appeared in three games, including his collegiate debut against Louisiana Tech. He recorded one total tackle, which came against Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. At Chaminade High School, Gibbs posted 48 total tackles and five interceptions as a junior, with two returned for scores, while adding 15 pass breakups.
