During his redshirt freshman year in 2024, he appeared in 11 games and recorded five receptions for 45 yards, including a 19-yard reception and one touchdown. In 2025, his redshirt junior season, Ganashamoorthy played in all 13 games with one start, catching five passes for 42 yards with a long of 19. He started against Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, recording two receptions for 14 yards in that contest.
