Langston Hardy is a 6'4", 250-pound edge rusher from Jacksonville, Florida, who transferred to Wake Forest from UConn. At Sandalwood High School, he earned All-State honors his junior and senior years. During his 2024 redshirt sophomore season with the Huskies, Hardy recorded 44 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks across 12 games. In 2025, his first year with the Demon Deacons, he appeared in and started all 13 games, totaling 67 tackles with 17 tackles for loss and seven sacks. His 17 TFLs led the ACC and ranked fifth nationally, tying a Wake Forest single-season record. Hardy earned All-ACC honorable mention recognition and graded as the No. 11 EDGE in the conference by analytics services.
