John Ohnegian is a center from Ramsey, New Jersey who transfers to Wake Forest for the 2026 season. At Saint Joseph Regional, he lettered three times in football and once in baseball, earning all-county second team and all-division first team honors. He helped the Green Knights win a state championship in 2018 when the team went 10-2 and averaged 179.5 rushing yards per game. Ohnegian spent four seasons at Bucknell, redshirting in 2022 before starting all 11 games at center in 2023 and earning the John Campana Award. He started all 12 games in 2024 while winning Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year. In 2025, he appeared in all 12 games and earned Second Team All-Patriot League honors.
