Devin McRae is a center from McRae, Georgia, who attended Telfair County High School. At the high school level, he was a two-way player who started at right tackle and earned All-State and 4A All-Region honors on the offensive line. He participated in the Georgia All-Star Classic and helped lead Telfair County to a 9-3 record in 2022. McRae redshirted during his 2023 freshman year at Wake Forest. He recorded five total snaps in 2024 as a redshirt freshman, appearing against North Carolina A&T and Duke. In 2025, McRae appeared in four games while playing 37 snaps on the offensive line.
